世界上50家最安全银行
«全球金融»发表了2009年“ 世界上50个最安全银行 ” 。世界上50个最安全银行是从世界各地的500家最大银行总资产挑选出来。“ 世界上50个最安全银行 ”已有18年的历史, 评级是根据穆迪，标准普尔及惠誉的评估所挑选出来。这排名已成为整个金融业公认的信誉和可靠的世界标准。
亚洲排名前50位的金融机构只有4家银行上榜，新加坡本地的3家银行全部入榜，日本有1家。新加坡的银行星展排名第24；大华银行排名第35; 华侨银行排名第36。日本静冈银行则排名第48。这证明新加坡的金融监管能力强，金融体系健全及稳固。虽然面临金融风暴，排名还是有所上升。
欧洲银行还是占了很大的比例，共有28家银行入榜，其它入榜的国家有美国，加拿大，澳州，新西兰，及阿拉伯联合酋长国。排在榜首的银行是德国的KfW银行。
